May 2017 New Release

May 2017 New Release

Every time I go to make new things I try to refine my process. This time the everything has been all over the place. I have had very limited time for my business lately so I decided that in order to make the work the best it could be I had to focus there and let everything else take a little pause. This blog is one of those places that had to be put on hold.

I have still been writing but I haven’t taken anything to completion and in publishable condition. This blog takes a ton of time. The word “blog” to me has such a passive connotation, but in reality it takes me hours to put out just one blog post a week. I think the hardest part for me is creating all the images. I also think I may be a bit wordy. They could be shorter. But I didn’t mean to post today about my blog on my blog. Today I have an exciting announcement!

Stacks of newly printed cards

I have NEW CARDS!

I have designed and created 20 new greeting cards and 6 edge painted notecards!

Earlier last week I sent out a promotional mailer to the top stores that I want to work with. I will share that mailer in the next week or 2 to give them time to arrive so I don’t spoil the awesomeness of them. They turned out so well, I was really pleased with them! Plus the feed back I have gotten back thus far has felt really good!

I mean the fact that I have had any feedback at all is super encouraging ❤️  and makes me feel like I am on the right path with my brand and my outreach strategy.

Bunny Bear Press Promotional Mailer for NSS 2017 Sneak Peek

Buyers typically are getting ready to go to the National Stationery Show this time of year and so I decided to time my new release with this buying milestone even though I myself am not going to New York to exhibit this time around.

The mailer I sent out is affectionately called a "no-go mailer" in the industry. It has to do a lot of work since I am not around to pitch my brand. I am looking forward to sharing a more in depth look at it, and my thought process behind how I designed it. I don't think a lot of people share this type of information (I know I had trouble finding it online) so I am excited to share more about that!

Here are a few sneak peek photos of the goodies I have coming:

These cards will be available to everyone on my website by June 15th! I will try for earlier but want to be realistic. If you want to be notified when they launch make sure you sign up for my newsletter! (You can use that handy form below!)

I love to celebrate my launches with a coupon code that only my subscribers get to take advantage of!

Coming up on the blog in the next few weeks will be my NSS Mailer Showcase, a 3 part series about handling setbacks and disappointments, and my progress report for April (which most likely will be paired with a May progress report because time crunch).

Until then...

KIT,

The magical paper wonderland that is the National Stationery Show was just this last week. It is where paper people go to geek out for days at a time but before the show stationery companies go all out on their promotional mailers to buyers. Here is a look at all of the mailers I have ever done.
